  But 1/32 Irish ancestry is not a significant contribution to his overall genetic makeup. Princess Diana had some very distant Armenian ancestry. Should the Armenians thus be claiming her as their own? Obama also claims to have Native American (Cherokee of course! What else?) ancestry. It's funny how people like Obama and Clinton who claim Irish ancestry also have a habit of claiming Native American ancestry as well. One's DNA is not something that can be purchased at your local Wal-Mart.

  Funny how he doesnt highlight the fact that his Mother is mostly of English heritage and instead highlights his Irish heritage to win Irish American votes. It's just politics guys.
